The pumpkin was 11 percent heavy compared to the chart. The seed came from our 1726 pound pumpkin from last year (available to purchase) and was pollinated with the 2551 Ford plant. We went with this plant because of its vigorous root system and plant growth. The plant had smaller leaves and was super easy to grow. We did not do a soil test this year and were low on Sulfur for half of the season. The Pumpkin was still growing 10 pounds a day when taken off the vine at exactly 100 days old.
